WordPress Origin Story

In the bustling tech hub of Bangalore, India, the year was 2014. The internet hummed with the energy of budding entrepreneurs and passionate developers. Amidst this vibrant landscape, a small team with a shared love for WordPress embarked on a journey that would change their lives and the lives of countless online businesses. This is the origin story of ELEXtensions.

Our founders, veterans of the e-commerce world, were well-acquainted with the challenges faced by online stores. Shipping and pricing complexities often became bottlenecks, hindering growth and frustrating both merchants and customers. Recognizing a need for better solutions, they decided to leverage their expertise in WordPress and coding to create their own tools.

Starting with a focus on shipping and pricing, the team poured their hearts into crafting their first plugin. Their initial offering, tackling the intricacies of shipping calculations and rates, was met with enthusiastic reception from the WordPress community. Buoyed by this success, they expanded their scope, developing more plugins that addressed various e-commerce pain points.
