    WordPress Origin Story

    It all started when I began optimizing my own website, dmahasan.com, and got frustrated with how bloated most caching and image-optimization plugins were — full of settings I never touched and features I never needed. Coming from a business and marketing background, performance and Core Web Vitals were something I cared about but couldn’t find a simple, transparent tool for. So I started building my own — first for personal use, then polished enough to share. That became CacheWing and PixShrink: lightweight, single-purpose plugins built to do one job well instead of everything at once.
