My first paid HTML work was written in Notepad when I was 11 years old, back when Netscape was still king. I built an adventure tourism website, learning by doing and solving problems as they came up.

I learned HTML the old-fashioned way — from a massive manual over five inches thick, the size of a school textbook — flipping pages and experimenting line by line until things worked.

From there, I moved on to tools like Dreamweaver and eventually into WordPress. While WordPress opened up incredible possibilities, I quickly noticed a pattern: the plugins that promised flexibility often required excessive setup, expensive subscriptions, or deep CSS knowledge just to achieve basic customization.

I had no interest in paying monthly fees for features that should have worked out of the box. Too many tools felt bloated, unintuitive, or designed more for upsells than usability.

That frustration is what led me to build my own software. My philosophy is simple: minimal configuration, sensible defaults, and tools that work immediately. Software should make sense, respect your time, and stay out of the way.

All of it ultimately led me to what I’ve always done best: practical solutions to real problems.
