    Hi, I’m James — a UK-based web designer, developer, and plugin creator. I run my own business, Digital Lychee, where I build websites, apps, and tools that make life easier for both site owners and developers. I love clean UI, good code, and solving real-world problems with simple, lightweight solutions. When I’m not building things, you’ll probably find me cooking, exploring the countryside, or geeking out over aviation.

    WordPress Origin Story

    I first discovered WordPress years ago while helping clients manage content more easily. What started as a simple CMS quickly became my go-to tool for building websites, developing custom functionality, and streamlining business workflows. Over time, I found myself creating small plugins to solve specific problems — and now I’m sharing those tools back with the community. WordPress has shaped my career, and I’m excited to give something back.
