    Bio

    My name is Sean… I like computers… hehe. I have been working with computers since they have been around. My father always told me, “If I was a mechanic you’d be good at working on cars, but I like computers”. I have always been a fan of pulling computers apart and putting them back together, as well as troubleshooting software issues of any kind. I worked construction for about 20 years and when the turndown of 2008 occurred, I decided it was a great time to go back to school. It was then that I decided to take my hobby to the next level! The hobbyist in me has always had a special place in my heart for Open-Source projects and WordPress has been a GREAT project to play with. I am still learning new things with WordPress everyday and I love helping people own their digital presence with WordPress!

    WordPress Origin Story

    I started working with WordPress a bit over 7 years ago. I got a job with my current employer, DreamHost, and my boss said “Sean, I want you to play with WordPress today! Try to break it and then find ways to fix it.” To which, I replied, “What is WordPress?”. Needless to say, that was my introduction to WordPress and I have not looked back since. Luckily for me, DreamHost’s WordPress hosting customer base is large, so I started learning quickly how to fix WordPress sites for our customers. I currently am in charge of DreamHost’s WordPress specific support team tied to our Managed WordPress offering, DreamPress, and work with 100s of WordPress sites on a daily basis. I like the challenge of finding and fixing issues within WordPress sites, and helping people fix issues within their WordPress sites.
