WordPress Origin Story

My journey in WordPress development began in 2019 when I crafted my first plugin for private use, seamlessly integrating it with the Divi theme builder. This initial foray into WordPress marked the beginning of my exploration into the dynamic world of website development.

In 2020, I joined Posimyth Innovation, a company specializing in WordPress blog plugins and Gutenberg blocks. This experience exposed me to a myriad of projects, including social feeds, team member listings, gallery displays, social reviews, search bars, and more. It was during this time that I immersed myself in Gutenberg and React.js, gaining valuable insights into backend blocks. Over the course of a year, I honed my skills and made significant contributions to various Gutenberg projects.

The year 2021 brought a new chapter as I transitioned to Elementor addons. Working on The Plus Addons for Elementor, I delved into the intricacies of the Elementor page builder. I created several widgets, such as search filters, search bars, and social feeds. In managing the plugin, I implemented WordPress rules, sanitization, and escaping methods. Additionally, I actively contributed to the plugin’s updates on WordPress.org.

In 2022, fueled by a desire for continuous improvement, I embarked on a new project with a fresh perspective. I conceptualized and developed a plugin using React.js, seamlessly connecting it with Elementor, Gutenberg, and Brick Builder. This innovative approach allowed data storage on the server. Concurrently, I built a site using Vue.js, delving deeper into Laravel and Vue.js, expanding my skill set even further.

As I reflect on my journey, each phase has been a stepping stone, contributing to my growth as a WordPress developer. I look forward to the continued evolution of my skills and the exciting challenges that lie ahead in the ever-evolving landscape of WordPress development.
