Like many designers, I came to WordPress sideways — a client needed “just a small blog,” and hand-coding static pages one more time felt absurd. That first custom theme hooked me: suddenly my designs could ship as living, editable sites. Years later I’m still here, building custom themes and publisher tools like DeBlocker+, and running its blog on WordPress. What started as a shortcut became half my stack.
