WordPress Origin Story

I first used B2/cafelog in 2003 (after my first blog using phpnuke). I switched to WordPress in I think 0.7, or perhaps a 1.0 beta. I continued using it, messing around personalising themes and hacking in google sitemap support at one point.

My blogging tailed off even more after I became a dad, and so I switched my blog to static one so I didn’t have to keep on top of updates.

Eventually I switched to WordPress.com when I was employed by Automattic. I still don’t write often though.
