WordPress Origin Story

I’ve used WP since 2006 or 2007, for over fifteen years, and became a member here in 2010. I now own a small hosting company from the customer base I’ve built over the years. I’m a database programmer and loved the whole concept of data driven websites. I started with Mambo and Joomla and learned a LOT, but when I found WordPress it was just a natural progression. I’ve watched WordPress pretty much take over the internet. My business card says Web Evangelist, but I no longer have to preach. Especially since the advent of COVID.
