    I’m an SEO and AI strategy advisor with 25+ years of experience working with large-scale publishers, SaaS platforms, and global brands.

    My work focuses on how content, technical foundations, and platform architecture influence visibility in modern search — particularly as AI systems become part of how information is discovered, summarized, and cited.

    I currently work with WordPress-based businesses on sustainable search strategies, contribute to the broader SEO community through speaking and writing, and spend a lot of time helping teams understand how search, AI, and publishing intersect in practice — not just theory.

    I’m also deeply interested in the WordPress ecosystem as an open publishing platform and how it continues to evolve alongside changes in search and discovery.

    WordPress Origin Story

    I started working with the web in the mid-1990s on Lafayette Online, a city guide and one of the earliest online-only newspapers (founded in 1995). The site began as handwritten HTML, transitioned to the Maginot CMS, and later moved to WordPress when it emerged as a modern publishing platform.

    As WordPress matured, I began migrating client sites to it and eventually worked with WordPress in large-scale editorial and organizational environments, including major publishers and nonprofit institutions.

    That evolution, from hand-coded pages to enterprise WordPress, continues to inform how I approach publishing, architecture, and discovery today.
