    WordPress Origin Story

The first time I ever installed WordPress was in 2003 when I was researching content management systems to use to build a website for my employer at the time. I ended up going with Mambo because it was a better fit for what we needed at the time, but I continued testing and working with WordPress for years after that. I have always admired WordPress’s simplicity and the way that it has changed the world by making it easy for everyone, regardless of their background, to publish on the web.
