Author of ScrapeLock – Content & AI Bot Protection, a server-side anti-scraping plugin that verifies real search engine crawlers, blocks AI training bots and fake Googlebots, rate-limits abusive IPs and protects private XML feeds with tokens.     WordPress Origin Story

    It all started when we were running WooCommerce stores in Greece and watched competitors and bots copy product descriptions, prices and images within hours. Most protection plugins only disabled right click, which scrapers never use. So we built our own server-side solution, and that work became ScrapeLock, our first plugin on WordPress.org.
