As part of my day job, I manage content for a WordPress-powered website. I’m interested in learning more about the back-end side of web development, particularly in regards to frameworks and theme development. I am also interested in honing my skills as a technical writer, by editing and contributing to user documentation on WordPress.org.

WordPress Origin Story

One day while working as a mild-mannered librarian, I was bitten by a mysterious, radioactive bug known as insectum wordpressian–or the WordPress bug, to put it in plain English. This bug gave me the power to instantly create stellar WordPress content and blog posts.

Fast forward five years later. I’m no longer working at a library, but I’m still going strong with my amazing superpowers. I’m an office worker by day, and a PHP superhero by night.
