Bio

Clarivo builds practical WordPress tools for AI content transparency. Our first plugin, Clarivo – AI Content Disclosure, helps website operators detect AI-generated media (via C2PA/IPTC/EXIF metadata) and label images, video, audio, text and chatbots — visibly and machine-readably — putting the transparency duties of Art. 50 of the EU AI Act into practice. We focus on honest, privacy-friendly tooling: no external requests, no tracking, no account requirement. Clarivo is a technical tool and not a substitute for legal advice.

WordPress Origin Story

It all started when the EU AI Act made AI transparency a legal duty (Art. 50, applicable from August 2026) — and we couldn’t find a WordPress tool that helped operators disclose AI content honestly, without overpromising “automatic compliance.” So we built one: detect what the metadata actually shows, let the operator decide, and label it clearly. WordPress powers a huge share of the web, so it was the natural place to start.
