    President of Easy Digital Downloads at Awesome Motive. I lead the product, development, and strategy for EDD, helping creators and businesses sell digital products with WordPress. WordPress community member since 2007, core contributor, and WordCamp speaker. Passionate about building tools that make selling online simple and accessible.

    WordPress Origin Story

    I discovered WordPress in 2005 when I needed a website and didn’t want to hand-code everything from scratch. What started as a way to build a blog quickly turned into a career. I got hooked on the plugin ecosystem, first using plugins, then building them, and eventually making it my full-time focus. I joined the Easy Digital Downloads team in its early days and have been leading the project ever since. WordPress gave me a career, a community, and a platform to build on. I try to give back whenever I can through core contributions, forum support, and speaking at WordCamps.
