    Checkpay is a Fintech company founded in Richmond, British Columbia and aims to empower small and medium-sized business (SMB) merchants in Canada by offering them a safe, fast and convenient payment solution online and offline.

    WordPress Origin Story

    When the pandemic hit the world, we witnessed thousands of local businesses and a large number of our merchants had to close during the lockdown. Moving business online was one of the solutions for them to continue business operation. To support our local community and merchants, Checkpay began its journey of providing payment solutions including plugins that enable merchants to accept payment through Alipay, WeChat Pay, and credit cards.
