WordPress Origin Story

My journey into Web Development began in 2014, and from the very start, WordPress was my platform of choice. I was initially drawn to its flexibility and the vibrant community surrounding it. For over a decade, it has been the foundation of my professional career, the tool I’ve used to bring countless digital visions to life for clients and employers.

Throughout the years, I’ve worked across the entire WordPress ecosystem. From crafting pixel-perfect custom themes and developing bespoke plugins to architecting complex e-commerce solutions and optimizing sites for peak performance, my focus has always been on leveraging the platform’s power to create robust, user-friendly experiences. Every project was a new opportunity to dive deeper, solve unique challenges, and appreciate the scalability of this incredible open-source software.

After a decade of building on WordPress, I have now moved to a role where I can give back to the community that has given me so much. This year, in 2025, I took the next logical step in my journey: I began contributing to the WordPress Core.
