We make mee-table, a WordPress plugin that lets a restaurant run its own bookings instead of renting them from a portal. The Lite version is free forever, with a limited set of features; the rest comes with a mee-table account.

Table reservations with real availability, opening hours, a weekly closing day and one-off closures. Guests move or cancel their own booking from the link in the confirmation email, within the limits you set. Card guarantee against no-shows: the card is authorised, not charged, and only captured if they fail to turn up. Prepayment tiers for fixed-price menus. Gift cards your guests buy online and redeem at the table. Tickets for cooking classes and events, with a printable flyer and QR code generated for you. A guest assistant that answers questions about your restaurant around the clock, on your own page. Reminders by email, WhatsApp or SMS, written in the guest’s own language. A waiter dashboard your staff use from their phone, without a WordPress account. Time-based discounts to fill the quiet hours, and anonymised statistics to see if they worked.
