    Bio

    I’m a long time WordPress enthousiast. I’ve been using WordPress since version 1.5. I am very passionate about security and performance. I’ve even written an ebook on security for WordPress websites (WordPress Security 101). I’ve been speaking at WordPress conferences and -events for years now and was involved in the organizing team for WordCamp Antwerp 2016.

    Nowadays I’m taking my very first baby steps into plugin development.

    Back in the old days, when kings and dragons reigned the known world, a brave young knight was born. No seriously, I got into WordPress because I was looking for a platform to maintain a blog. WordPress was by far the easiest application to use (I had no knowledge of PHP nor CSS at that point) so I kind of stuck with it. And love it still.
