    WordPress Origin Story

    I stumbled on b2//WordPress while evaluating open source software in 2002 as part of an iPowerWeb reseller program. Used it on small “weblog” projects over the next few years, then started using it as my main CMS for developing new client sites in place of Drupal, Mambo/Joomla, and PHPnuke/PostNuke because it had evolved to a point where it could be used as a full CMS that was easier for my clients to manage than any of the systems I had been using up to that point.
