    Bio

Indie Game Developer, long-time IT professional with a career touching every part of the technology ecosphere, currently developing digital strategy board games for a range of different platforms including Windows, Android, and Linux.

Leverage Word Press and my hosted server, along with their REST API and cron tech, to integrate my games with their own online Community Center’s, working with a number of 3rd party APIs (Steam, Google Play, etc.). Also, includes writing a number of custom REST APIs in association with WP features to create data and statistic heavy features for players to enjoy.

    WordPress Origin Story

Worked with Word Press an PHP a tiny bit in the past and have worked with html a fair amount in different projects (but it had been a long time since I had last touched web tech) but really started my journey with them about 1 year ago, when I began work on my first website and soon after my first game.

After delving into numerous 3rd party APIs, learned enough to write my own plugin that revolved around using wp’s REST API. Have been learning php, html, css, java, javascript fairly regularly over the last 3-5 months. My first thoughts on php were always… “what a funny language => -> echo $, lol”, but I have come to really enjoy coding in it.
