roof rats

After 10 years of selective breeding, I have developed a line of domesticated roof rats (rattus rattus) that even come in colors, such as blonde ones (hence the name.) I decided to create a non-profit, educational website telling the world about my project and educating them about its behavior, care and breeding. My ultimate goal is to increase acceptance of this species as a pet and recruit more breeders by offering free breeding pairs and support and training. I created the Pet Freedom companion to help research and publish where it was legal to own, breed, sell and import roof rats world-wide, and now I am sharing that it with the world so lovers of other species can do the same for their favorite pets!
