WordPress Origin Story

I started using WordPress against my will due to client request way back when it was first becoming a viable CMS. I was a solid JOOMLA fan having come from Mambo and thought WordPress to be a basic, uncivilized CMS platform compared to Joomla. I quickly realized how wrong I was as wordpress took the world by storm and has far surpassed any other CMS. Along the way I have always developed custom themes and plugins for wordpress and joomla, however only for private client use. Now in 2018 I have decided to finally become a wordpress contributor, after 15+ years using wordpress, I am proud to be a WordPress developer and theme designer and finally contribute back to the community.
