Bio

I am a Designer at Melapress. We develop a number of security & management plugins for WordPress. Our flagship product is WP Activity Log, the most comprehensive activity log plugin for WordPress.

I am also founder of the Usher Smith Design Studio, a top brand design agency located in Edinburgh, Scotland and help to run the Edinburgh WordPress meet up.

When I am not designing. I enjoy playing music, studying literature and training.

WordPress Origin Story

I started using WordPress properly working as a designer/developer for Heehaw a creative agency based in Edinburgh. My first WordPress experience was updating and modifying the theme of the Comedian Tim Minchin’s website that was back in 2005. I had dabbled before but that was back when I was looking at moveable type.
