    WordPress Origin Story

    I’ve been using WordPress since roughly 2007 at my previous venture, HostNine. We were one of the first companies to ever auto install WordPress at time of site creation through our Reseller Central portal and Fantastico.

    Since 2007, I’ve spent my career mostly in the hosting industry with some notable achievements such as relaunching the entire hosting product line at GoDaddy in 2013.

    Today, I’m on a mission to accelerate, protect, and deploy WordPress at the edge of the internet at Rocket.net. We currently host over 50,000 WordPress sites and deliver just under 1PB of traffic a month and prevent billions of WordPress attacks in the process.
