I am a BTech graduate in Computer Science and started my career as a PHP developer, specializing in WordPress development. My hometown is Kottayam, Kerala.

Currently, I work as a Senior Software Engineer at Multidots, which is my second company. I have extensive experience in WordPress development, including plugin development and theme integration.

Beyond WordPress, I have worked on Laravel-based projects and possess knowledge in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and Vue.js.

WordPress Origin Story

I began my journey in WordPress development, after completing my BTech in Computer Science. My passion for development led me to work extensively in the WordPress ecosystem, where I explored a wide array of plugins like Gravity Forms, Contact Form 7, Yoast SEO, WPML, Wordfence for security, and W3 Total Cache.

With experience in theme integration and plugin development, I also developed a strong working knowledge of builders like Divi, Elementor, Beaver, and Visual Composer.

Throughout my career, I leveraged my deep understanding of the WordPress core to manipulate admin and theme components, creating custom solutions that catered to specific project needs. I also delved into custom block development for Gutenberg, aligning with modern WordPress practices.

In my role as a Senior Software Engineer, I contributed to streamlining development cycles by creating and updating reusable code libraries. My work involved advanced theme customisation, plugin development, and third-party tool integration, such as synchronising YouTube data with WordPress and developing it into a plugin.

Additionally, I integrated Webinar Jam with WordPress and developed the solution as a plugin, and worked on Mailchimp integration for WooCommerce-based websites. I also synced Podio with WordPress, ensuring smooth data flow.

I have a deep understanding of WooCommerce core customizations, especially in order and payment functionalities. One notable development was creating a “pay later” option for orders.

I also customised Beaver Builder by developing custom modules tailored to client requirements, pushing the boundaries of builder capabilities.
