    A system administrator and WP “Mr. Fixit” type guy for my day job, I’m also an avid sports fan and photographer. When I’m not working for a Catholic Diocese, you can usually find me on the football (American) field or basketball court with my cameras in hand, taking pics of the game action.

    WordPress Origin Story

    Believe it or not, it was because of my last job (Richweb)… it was either “Pick up WordPress knowledge/skills, or keep struggling to find work”. I was an independent contractor at that time. Opting to pick up WordPress, I actually helped tie in two (previously separate) bugs here on WordPress.org and cross-tied them together (the bug was affecting WordPress MultiSite and dealt with character encoding preventing WPMS tables from being created in the database)… just two months after starting up with WordPress. The rest is, as they say, history!

    I owe it to WordPress for me landing my current position with a Catholic Diocese as their primary Web Developer (full time, salaried). We’re working to standardize 160+ sites to WordPress now. #NotAddictedToWP
