    WordPress Origin Story

It started back in 2012 with “just one quick site”. Fourteen years, dozens of sites and one custom block theme later, I’m still here. These days I build themes and plugins from scratch, keep high-traffic sites alive and teach AI to do the boring parts. My first plugin on WordPress.org came out of that theme – it turned out other people need meta tags too.
