WordPress Origin Story

It all started in 2007, when WordPress.com gave me a place to blog. By 2013, curiosity pulled me toward WordPress.org. Since then, I’ve built wordpress websites, fixed them. I’ve poked at probably a hundred plugins just to see how they tick. Getting involved with WordPress helped how I see things. Here, people offer real support for free, side by side with countless plugins and the developers behind them. Everyone has their own reason: some are sharpening their skills, some are road-testing a plugin before going commercial, and some simply believe in the open-source spirit. Whatever the reason, this community changed me. Because sharing what you know for free is what sets you free — pun absolutely intended. 🙂
