    Bio

AstroBlob is a platform where astronomy associations and their members share remote robotic telescopes. Members book real telescopes under dark skies, capture their own astrophotos and share them with their association.

We maintain the AstroBlob Banners plugin, which lets associations add AstroBlob banners and a gallery of their members’ astrophotos to their WordPress sites.

    WordPress Origin Story

Many astronomy associations run their websites on WordPress. We built AstroBlob Banners so they could link their site to their AstroBlob community and show their members’ astrophotos without touching code: pick your association, then add a block or a shortcode. It is our first plugin on WordPress.org.
