    Bio

I’m the Managing Director and Digital Lead at Kavin Studios, the creative studio in Jalandhar, India, that my father, Rajinder Singh, founded over 25 years ago in print, publication and packaging design. I lead the studio’s digital side: I build software, including WordPress plugins and themes, and I also work as a graphic designer and product photographer. We bring the same attention to detail from decades of print work to everything we make, so our WordPress products are lightweight, easy to use and well designed, with a free core and optional Pro versions.

    Interests

Software development, graphic design and product photography, and bringing them together with branding and packaging to help small businesses grow.

    WordPress Origin Story

Kavin Studios began over 25 years ago in print, publication and packaging design, founded by my father. I started using WordPress in 2012 while building websites for our clients, and joined WordPress.org in 2018. As I led the studio’s move into digital, I saw how often small businesses struggle with the basics of running a WordPress site. In 2026 we started publishing our own WordPress plugins to the directory, built with the same craftsmanship as our print and design work.
