WordPress Origin Story

My first encounter with WordPress was in 2008 when I was in the beginning of my career as a web designer. It was love at first sight. I built and launched my personal blog using WordPress exactly in one week. That was a game-changing moment. I kept on working with WordPress and released a few small tutorials and free WordPress themes on my blog.

Long story short. In 2010, I decided to leave my job and go freelancing only because of the number of WordPress jobs I was receiving just through my blog. I built a small team myself to develop and deliver WordPress sites to the clients across the globe. We have developed a few plugins that have over 200,000 downloads in the repository.

WordPress is our bread and butter and we want to contribute back to the great CMS and the community.
