    Hi there! I’m Antonio Sejas, a dreamer who develops software to build a more kind and technological world. I was born in Madrid and currently live in the Canary Islands.

    WordPress Origin Story

    I started my first blog back on 2005 about computer science smultron.es. Since 2008 I’ve been working as a Software Engineer with WordPress and other technologies.

    I joined Modern Tribe at 2020, where I contributed to extraordinary projects like the Harvard University website https://harvard.edu/ and the Vimeo WordPress plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/vimeo/.

    In 2022, I joined Automattic, where I build digital products that enhance the WordPress.com experience for developers and agencies, such as WordPress Studio, Staging Sites, WP-CLI, and WordPress Playground.

    I co-created https://wapuu.studio , WordPress Studio, and Studio Code
