    I’m Anthony Acosta, founder of Kennedy Media Group in McAllen, Texas — a digital agency I’ve been running since 1997. I hold a Doctorate in Computer Science along with Microsoft, Google, and Cisco certifications, plus an FAA Part 107 drone certification.

    My work spans web development, brand identity, photography, videography, and digital marketing, primarily serving businesses across the Rio Grande Valley.

    On the development side I specialize in WordPress, custom plugin development, and building automated systems for small business clients.

    I published Kennedy Site Scout to solve a real problem I kept running into with clients — AI search visibility — and I’m building more tools in that space.

    WordPress Origin Story

    I didn’t come to WordPress through WordPress — I came through 25+ years as a full-stack developer starting with the early web in 1995. WordPress became my primary platform as the ecosystem matured and client needs shifted toward maintainable, scalable sites.

    I’ve built and audited dozens of WordPress sites for RGV clients across industries including broadcast networks, energy sector, hospitality, entertainment, and live music events.
