My journey into web development started more than 12 years ago. Like many developers at the beginning of their careers, I explored different technologies and CMS platforms, trying to understand which tools offered the best combination of flexibility, simplicity, and real value for clients.

WordPress quickly stood out to me. I liked the idea that the same platform could power a simple website but could also be extended into something much more complex. What started with building and customizing relatively simple WordPress websites gradually turned into developing custom themes, plugins, integrations, and increasingly sophisticated solutions.

As my experience grew, so did the complexity of the projects I worked on. I became especially interested in WooCommerce and the challenge of turning WordPress into a powerful platform for eCommerce. Over the years, I’ve worked on everything from custom functionality and third-party integrations to performance optimization, complex business logic, and highly customized WordPress and WooCommerce solutions.

Eventually, my role grew beyond writing code. I started leading development teams, managing projects, making architectural decisions, mentoring other developers, and working directly with clients to turn business requirements into technical solutions.

More than 12 years later, WordPress and WooCommerce are still an important part of my professional work. A lot has changed since I built my first WordPress website, but what initially attracted me to the platform is still there: its flexibility and the almost endless possibilities to build, customize, integrate, and solve real business problems.

Looking back, I didn’t really plan to become a WordPress specialist when I started my career. I simply found a platform I enjoyed working with, kept taking on more challenging projects, and never stopped learning. Somewhere along the way, WordPress became a major part of my professional journey – and it still is today.
