I started using WordPress four years ago when I wanted to build websites for businesses that needed a strong online presence but had limited technical knowledge. At first, I explored page builders like Breakdance to understand how websites were structured and how WordPress worked.

As I built more business websites, I became more curious about what happens behind the scenes. That curiosity pushed me to learn custom coding and develop custom themes. Over time, WordPress became more than just a tool for client work. It became a platform where I could solve real business problems and create systems that help companies grow.

My journey deepened when I joined WordCamp Iloilo in 2023. That experience opened my eyes to the global WordPress community. Since then, I’ve actively joined WordPress Iloilo meetups, volunteered at WordCamp Asia 2025, and participated in WordPress Campus Connect in Cagayan de Oro 2025.

Through these experiences, I realized that WordPress is not just about building websites. It is about community, collaboration, and open-source contribution. I’m grateful to be part of this ecosystem and excited to continue learning and contributing.
