    WordPress Origin Story

    A long, long time ago, between 2005 and 2008, I was writing my own blog system. Eventually I finished it. Then a friend of mine wanted a website, too, but my system was not ready for use by others: they can’t handle errors and flaws, which I can.
    So I said to him: use WordPress. It’s probably better than mine.
    He said: “Can you set it up for me?” Sure. And then I fell in love with WordPress.
