    Founder and lead developer at aGo lab, a small studio based in Chillán, Chile that builds data, AI and web tools since 2020. I focus on WordPress plugin development, custom Python/Django applications and applied machine learning for small and mid-size businesses across LATAM. I also teach WordPress, plugin development and applied AI through aGo lab workshops.

    WordPress Origin Story

    I started building with WordPress around 2015 to launch small business sites for clients in Chile. Over time it became my preferred platform for shipping anything that needs to be installed, branded and handed to a non-technical owner in a single afternoon. In 2020 I founded aGo lab and we began developing our own internal plugin suite to solve recurring problems we saw in client work — security hardening, email delivery, cleanup, AI assistants, GDPR/Chile compliance. The “aGo AI Chatbot” submitted today is the first one we open-source on the official directory.

    Founder and lead developer at aGo lab, a data, AI and web development studio based in Chillán, Chile. I lead the design and development of our WordPress plugin suite (15+ in-house plugins covering security, cleanup, SMTP, GDPR/Chile 21.719 compliance, AI chatbots, contact forms and more) and deliver custom Python/Django and Next.js applications for clients across Chile and LATAM.     Delivered custom AI and data pipelines for organizations across LATAM in domains such as fintech, organic-product verification, regulatory compliance, event ticketing, cultural management, accounting and agricultural auditing.
    Open-sourced aGo AI Chatbot on WordPress.org, a free Google Gemini-powered chatbot for small business sites with full self-hosted knowledge base.
    Designed and built the aGo plugin suite: 15+ WordPress plugins shared internally across clients, covering site hardening, cleanup, SMTP, AI chatbots, GDPR/Chile 21.719 compliance, contact forms with anti-spam, and lead capture.
