Profiles

A number of people recently have asked me to create web-sites for them recently, with almost no specification but with the ability for them to manage add-to and expand. A totally bespoke site didn’t seem like a good fit for that scenario, so went looking for a pre-existing framework that was well known/supported that they could use, but that had the flexibility to enable me to easily add any bespoke functionality they may want, in a consistent controlled manner whilst not creating significant on-going support issues. WordPress with its plug-ins and themes support fitted the bill perfectly.
