Hi, I’m Abir, passionate about building great products. I contribute to the WordPress open-source project; I’m a WordCamp organizer, and I spend most of my time designing and writing. My day job is crafting product positioning strategies. I enjoy exploring new tech, riding my cycle, and, of course, ❤️ good food 🍔

WordPress Origin Story

Back in 2016, I was working on a personal project and wanted a website for that. I didn’t know anything about building a site or WordPress at the time. A few of my friends used to work with WordPress. I talked with them. And eventually, I started to explore WordPress and how it works. And that’s it. Since then, I have been building websites, and lots of those are on WordPress.
