I got into WordPress the way a lot of people do – I needed a website way back in the early 2000’s, WordPress was there, and it just made sense. What started as building sites for small clients turned into a career. Over the years I moved from tinkering with themes to running the technical side of a digital marketing agency, where WordPress has been a constant. It’s the platform I keep coming back to because it’s flexible enough to handle almost anything a client throws at it.
More recently my interest shifted toward performance and architecture – static-exported WordPress deployed to the edge, headless setups, and squeezing every bit of speed out of a site without giving up the CMS everyone already knows how to use. That’s actually what pushed me to start building my own plugins: I kept hitting the same gaps in my own projects and figured other developers were hitting them too. Giving something back to the ecosystem that’s given me a career felt like the natural next step.
