    WordPress Origin Story

    In the 90s we built PIT, a small and flexible content management system for websites. At some point the technology developed too fast to be able to guarantee the desired growth and quality with a small team. Because WordPress was built on almost exactly the same foundations as our product, the choice was easy; since 2005 we embrace WordPress as our primary CMS for building websites.
