    Bio

    Nice to meet everyone! I’m not a WordPress/Automattic employee (yet — still hoping to join Automattic one day! 😄), but I’ll do my best to help you get the most out of your WordPress experience.

    I’m a front-end developer with over 14 years of experience building websites with WordPress. In recent years, I’ve specialized in WordPress + Elementor, and I regularly use tools like Advanced Custom Fields and JetEngine to create powerful, custom solutions.

    WordPress Origin Story

    I started with WordPress back when “everything was still grass” — yes, that’s a joke, but it speaks to how early I began. I created the first WordPress blog in Brazilian Portuguese dedicated entirely to WordPress tips, called DicasWP. (I actually wanted to name it Dicas WordPress, but after reading the brand guidelines, I knew that wasn’t allowed — so DicasWP it was!)

    Since then, I’ve built countless websites using WordPress. While I know how to create themes and sites manually from scratch, in recent years I’ve focused on working with tools like Elementor and Crocoblock plugins, especially JetEngine, to streamline and scale my development process.

    For over 10 years, I’ve remained passionate about WordPress — building, supporting, and staying connected to the community that started it all.
