    Developer and founder of XYZ Age Verification, a privacy-first age verification service for regulated industries. I’ve been writing software since the early 80s.

    WordPress Origin Story

    I’ve written a few dozen custom WordPress plugins for clients over the years. XYZ Age Verification is the first one I’ve written that can help a lot of people. I needed a compliant age gate solution that was much more than a simple “I’m 18+” interstitial. I needed something that complies with the UK’s Online Safety Act and other similar requirements popping up all around the world.
