WordPress Origin Story

Once upon a time, in a land far, far away.. in the dark days when nearly all websites were hand-coded with HTML… a regal Prince named Prince WordPress arrived in the village one day. And the handsome Prince WordPress gave all the little Bloggers and Webmasters the power to create Database-Driven websites and blogs, where their visual design elements could be separated from their content! The Bloggers and Webmasters rejoiced, and the Clients clapped their hands! For now they could edit their “about us” pages, without calling on their Webmasters! And the Webmasters could build better websites, faster, and with ease! And the Webmasters and the Clients declared Prince WordPress to be the new King of all the CMS’ in the land, and they all lived happily ever after! The End.
