My name is Deb James, and I’ve been a bachelor-prepared RN for nearly 20 years. My personal journey caring for parents with dementia gives deep insight into affected families’ needs and solutions.  In 1995 my dad’s mom was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease. I worked with him to help care for her. In 2015 I was concerned when visiting my parents. Eighteen months later, my dad was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s & mom was showing early signs of dementia. I quickly learned what I didn’t know. Now I help others caring for a Loved One with dementia by sharing practical actions to help navigate your dementia care journey.

I’m also experienced also in cardiology, medical-surgical, physical rehab, hospice, long-term care, and home health. I offer small-group (5-10 people) education on dementia care & patient advocacy. As well as 1:1 wellness consulting, guided imagery for relaxation and other services.
