I became interested in site building technologies back in 1998 when Windows 98 first appeared. It included the Frontpage program and a local webserver. Since this was just my hobby I didn’t always have enough time to understand the whole essence of hypertext technology. Time passed, content management systems appeared, and I chose Joomla for some reason. I spent a lot of time studying this system, and only recently did I realize that I “bet on the wrong horse”. Today I am passionate about CMS WordPress and regret that I did not turn my eyes to it earlier – too much time I studied not what I should have studied. I like WordPress because it is primarily a free system. Anyone can download the full version from the official website and use it for an unlimited amount of time. WordPress has a very large developer club. A very large, just a huge number of free design themes, after reading which you can make the right decision already about buying a paid version if the free features are not enough for your site. To all of the above, we can add that WordPress is a very easy system to learn. After watching a few video tutorials on Youtube, you start to feel almost professional (a joke). The system was indeed surprisingly easy to understand. Even any beginner can launch a professionally designed website in one day. Let it be just a couple of pages, but the site will look exactly as you want it to. In conclusion, I want to thank the developers for an excellent CMS that will satisfy all the desires of not only novice site builders but also professionals. I wish you good luck in your future work and more new creative ideas (I haven’t made friends with editor Gutenberg yet, but I think the direction of development is right). I hope for long-term cooperation and that I will not be disappointed in my choice of CMS.
