i use wordpress since a few weeks now and im quite happy whats possible with the free version of some template, i ended up using wordpress after i got fed up with expensive options like wxx (wont say the name here) and the other famous shop platform, wordpress offers so much more and does not rip people off over plugins do actually basic stuff
