WordPress Origin Story

My journey with WordPress began in 2020 when I first explored wordPress.com to build an online presence for our small nonprofit. It was a fantastic introduction to website creation, but as our needs grew, upgrading the platform was beyond our budget.

Determined to find a cost-effective solution, I transitioned to wordPress.org, where I learned to create and manage websites independently. The experience was transformative—WordPress.org offered a vast array of plugins and themes that made customization simple and effective. Its user-friendly design empowered me to craft websites that met diverse needs, whether for my nonprofit or other projects.

WordPress has since become an essential tool for me, opening doors to creativity and functional web design. The journey taught me how adaptability and resourcefulness can lead to incredible outcomes.
