Used WP for years as my business blog. It was the right tool for an online business in a niche market. I manufactured knitting yarns and often the raw materials were sourced on different schedules around the world. The blog kept my customers in the loop about the timing of raw materials, extended out to when to expect the yarn to be available for purchase. WordPress blogs are easy to learn, and was accepted by my customer base. Blogging with pictures and comments/replies drew my customers closer to the manufacture process, and helped them learn to schedule their purchases. Now, I am retired, painting, and have left mainstream social media. Still, I wanted an online presence where I can share my art, and, of course, continue writing a blog. Setting up WP myself has been an experience, and I do love dialing in to WP Live! to meet a new tech who always helps me learn more. I am a WP fan!
